Pyongyang: Russia has taken another step to mess with America. Russia is busy with the constant threat of nuclear bomb and increasing closeness with America’s biggest enemy, North Korea. North Korea has invited delegations from China and Russia to participate in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Korean Armistice. The state media of Pyongyang reported this information. According to the news, North Korea has invited foreign guests for the first time after the corona epidemic.
According to a report by Yonhap, a major South Korean news agency, cargo transport between North Korea and China partially resumed last year after the pandemic. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has been invited by the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
“At the invitation of the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), a military delegation from the Russian Federation led by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu will visit Korea to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War,” KCNA reported. KCNA added, “The visit will be an important opportunity to further develop traditional Korea-Russia friendly relations in line with the needs of the times.”
According to TASS, the Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed that a Russian delegation led by Shoigu will visit North Korea on July 25-27 to take part in events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the DPRK’s victory in the 1950-1953 War of Independence. Russia’s news agency quoted the country’s Defense Ministry as saying the visit “will contribute to strengthening bilateral military ties and marks an important stage in the development of cooperation between the two countries.”
North Korea has also invited a Chinese delegation and government representatives to the ceasefire ceremony. The Central Committee of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party and its government have invited a Chinese delegation led by Li Hongzong, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China’s Central Committee, to the anniversary celebrations, Yonhap news agency reported. North Korea signed the Korean War Armistice on July 27, 1953. North Korea is preparing to celebrate its 70th anniversary.
