According to Railway Ministry officials, two train sets of Bande Bharat Express have been included in the 2021-22 production plan. That means both train sets will be ready by March 2022. These two train sets will be made at ICF Chennai. Where the existing Bande Bharat Express has been built. Since after production, CRS clearance has to be taken, which is available from the Ministry of Civil Aviation. After that the trial will be done on the route on which the train will run. According to Railway Ministry officials, the process takes time. Probably by May 2022, both trains will have CRS clearance and trial. Thus, from June 2022, India will start running on two new Bande train sets. After that the number of Bande Bharat Express will be 4.

India will be a little different in the new band
According to a ministry official, the new Banda Bharat Express will be technically modified, but the seats will be changed to suit the convenience of the passengers. In Bande India, only the rear part of the seat can be moved, while in the upcoming train set, the whole seat can be moved according to convenience. This has caused inconvenience to the passengers in the existing seats. Changes are being brought keeping the issue in mind.
