Indian Railways-IRCTC has started booking Tejas Express, know when?

New Delhi. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is preparing to run the Tejas Express again as the corona’s influence diminishes. Booking of this train has also started from Friday. The train will run regularly from August 6 next month. It was not decided what kind of food would be provided on the train. This decision will be made keeping in mind the Corona Protocol and the convenience of the passengers.

The IRCTC has decided to run private train Tejas on the Lucknow route for the convenience of the people and in view of the declining influence of Corona. Booking has started from today. Passengers will be able to travel with their convenient booking. The decision to run the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Second Tejas Express will also be taken soon. In view of the increasing number of corona patients, it has been decided to stop Tejas.

Currently, IRCTC supplies about 1,000 ready-made meals on trains, up from about 2,500 before Covid. This number is gradually increasing. IRCTC is going to launch Tejas Express from next month. It is a private train and is operated by IRCTC itself.
