IGI Airport News – Free private car parking for three days at IGI Airport Terminal 3

New Delhi. If you are going to receive someone you know at IGI Airport Terminal 3, there is good news for you. Vehicle parking will be free for the next three days for oncoming vehicles due to maintenance work. However, for private cars, the parking will be free for three hours a day from 4 pm to 6 pm. Drivers will be able to park and wait in Level 1 of the multi-level car parking, without having to pay parking charges.

Airport operator Dial said there had been some diversions on the Terminal 3 route since Thursday due to maintenance. For this reason, temporary parking has been provided for multi-level car parking Level 1 vehicles from the lanes of Terminal 3. Where private drivers can wait for three hours i.e. from 4 pm to 6 pm. No parking charge will be taken from them at this time. But in case of commercial i.e. taxi parking, parking charges will be levied as before. Currently this arrangement is kept for three days, can be extended further if required.

To assist passengers arriving at the airport and their families, signboards have been erected at the entrance to Lane 3, and guards will be deployed to assist these vehicles in reaching the multi-storey car park. Passengers can also pick up updates through the airport’s social media handles. Multi-level car parking will have many facilities for the convenience of people like F&B counter, ATM, washroom, baby care room, waiting lounge, mobile charging station.
