    Tokyo Olympics 2020: No. 1 tennis player arrives in Tokyo after Wimbledon win, stays outside Sports Village


    Tokyo. Australian contingent chief Ian Chesterman has confirmed the world number one tennis player will not be at the Olympic Games Village following Ashley Barty’s arrival in Japan. Bertie, who won Wimbledon last week, hopes to keep the momentum going at the Olympics.
    So far, four players have tested positive at Khelgaon, including three from South Africa and one from Japan. Chesterman said Australia had not instructed its players to stay away from any country’s players.
