Munger. In Munger, Bihar, criminals opened fire while challenging police. The case relates to the Nayagaon mahalla of Basudebpur OP, where armed criminals targeted the son of the late Mohammad Nasim, a resident of Nayagaon, near the Shampur opera Bajrangbali temple on Wednesday evening. The criminals opened fire near the house and attacked Sajid with a killer and fired six shots.

Mohammad Sajid received two bullets in the head and four bullets in his left hand. After that, the family rushed the injured Mo Saj Sajid to Sadar Hospital in critical condition, where after initial treatment, he was referred to Patna. On hearing the news, Basudebpur OP in-charge Joy Prakash Singh reached Sadar Hospital along with the police force. He questioned the relatives of the injured youth about the incident but the family did not inform the police. The brother of the injured youth, Mr. Tawfiq and Akbar had just told the police that Sajid had a quarrel with Raja, Vicky and Bipin, residents of Nayagaon, a month ago.

It is feared that the same three may have shot at his brother. Basudebpur OP president Joy Prakash Singh said the family members had not yet lodged an FIR. Police are investigating the matter but the cause of the incident is known. Injured youth Mo Saj Sajid is the driver of a container vehicle traveling in ITC. On Wednesday evening, he was walking near the Bajrangbali temple, 50 meters from his house, when he was attacked by a murderer. Relatives who reached Sadar Hospital met the police and said that only the shopkeeper who was running the shop at the spot could give accurate information about the shooter as all the shops were open there at the time of the incident.
