    Kerala: CPM editor’s son arrested in drug case, already questioned in Bengaluru case


    Taking a major step in the drug case, the ED has arrested Vinesh Kodiyeri, son of Communist Party of India-Marxist secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan in Kerala. Officials gave this information on Thursday. ED has interrogated Binish thrice in the past as well.

    Apart from this, Binish appeared before the ED for the third time today. He was summoned for questioning by the ED for alleged links with Bangalore drug racket case accused Mohammed Anup. In the earlier interrogation, Vinish was interrogated by the ED for nearly 6 hours due to his financial links with accused Anup.



    Muslim League’s Youth Front has raised the complaint
    Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau busted a drug racket in Bangalore. Earlier, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) had alleged that Binish had links with some members of a drug racket. Yuva League general secretary PK Feroze alleged that Binish had invested money in Anup’s hotel starting in 2015. He demanded an investigation into the matter.
