Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Friday said his cabinet expansion or reshuffle will be finalized in three days and the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers is planned after that. He said, ‘I have discussed the cabinet expansion with my national president JP Nadda – what to do, how to do it, how to change it.’
Yeddyurappa said that according to him he would confirm within two days and a program would be planned to take oath of the new ministers in three-four days. He told reporters that everything will be finalized within three days. Asked about meeting some people to join the cabinet, Yeddyurappa said, “Such discussions go on. MLAs will give their opinion, I don’t want to discuss it.
Pending the expansion or reshuffle in the state cabinet, Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi had earlier said that the BJP high command could convey its decision in about a week. “The Chief Minister has informed the party’s national president JP Nadda here on all related matters, the decision will come out in four to six days,” Savadi told reporters in Kalaburgi.
Yeddyurappa, after his meeting with Nadda on November 18 in Delhi on the Cabinet expansion, said the party’s national president would discuss the issue with other leaders in a few days. Meanwhile, Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi met BJP National General Secretary BL Santosh in New Delhi.
