‘People of the state are with us’
In a conversation with news agency ANI, Union Minister Babul Supriya said, ‘People of West Bengal are with us.’ “Mamata didi is in power only because of abuse and politicization of police and administration,” he said. Supriya said, ‘I think we will win the election from more than 200 seats’. Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived in Bengal on a two-day visit last month, also claimed a majority in the state. During his program, he targeted the Trinamool Congress.
Mamata accused of bringing goons from other states
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made the complaint without naming her on Wednesday. He said that some people are bringing goons from other states to create unrest in the state ahead of the 2021 assembly elections. Arriving at the inauguration of Jagaddhatri Puja at Poppy Bazar, Mamata appealed to everyone to oppose outsiders and try to disrupt the peace. What is special is the large number of Hindi speakers in this area.
He said, ‘If some gangsters come from outside and threaten you in our state, then unite and protest against them. I promise we are with you. “We believe in peace, but some people come to the state only to intimidate others during elections,” he said. He said, we will not let them roam freely here.
