    IND vs ENG 4th Test: Bowlers return to India, take wickets on first day


    New Delhi. India returned to the power of bowlers after scoring just 111 in their first innings in the fourth Test of the series against England (IND vs. ENG 4th Test). The Indian bowlers performed well, picking up the wickets of the hosts on the first day on Thursday. For Team India, captain Virat Kohli and Shardul Tagore scored half-centuries and pacer Chris Oakes took wickets.

Pant also flopped and returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 and the team’s score turned out to be 127 for 6.

    After that, Shardul Tagore (57) put up a strong performance and added 63 runs for the 8th wicket with Umesh Yadav. Shardul scored the second half century of his Test career, for which he played 31 balls. He hit a six off the 5th ball of the 60th over of Oli Robinson’s innings to score a personal 53. Shardul returned to the pavilion with a score of 1901 after being lbw out by Chris Oakes. Shardul scored 5 runs with the help of four fours and six sixes. Jaspreet Bumrah (0) was then run out and Robinson caught Umesh at the hands of Bearstore. Umesh made 10 runs off 20 balls with the help of 1 four. England fast bowler Chris Oakes took 4 for 55 and Robinson took 3 for 38. James Anderson and Craig Overton took 1-1 wickets.
