According to the ministry, 2,6,03,68 people aged 1-4-4 years have been given the first dose and 20,20,411,59 people in all the states and union territories have been given the second dose since the start of the third. The vaccination phase is over.
Meanwhile, amid growing threats from Corona, the chief ministers of both the states have ruled out the possibility of a lockdown in Kerala and Maharashtra. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Bijayan said the lockdown would create a major crisis on the state’s economy and people’s livelihoods. At the same time, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Top said there was no possibility of another lockdown in the near future.
