New Delhi. In a major move, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting raids at 20 places in Delhi-NCR, Pune in Maharashtra and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. According to an official working at the CBI headquarters, the operation was related to fraud in the 2021 JEE (Main) exam. Therefore, considering the seriousness of the matter, an FIR was registered by the CBI on September 1, then on September 2, the operation was launched in 20 places. During the operation, the CBI confiscated and took away many important items including electronic devices, mobile phones from the location of the accused, which the CBI will take further action against the other accused after conducting forensic examination in its lab.
The name of a private company has also been registered in the FIR registered by the CBI and a case has also been filed against the director of the company along with three employees of the company. The role of many individuals has also come to the fore in this case, which the CBI team is busy investigating. In fact JEE (Main Examination) was conducted by a private educational institution.
But this fraud was done due to the involvement of many people in the same organization. According to CBI sources, arrest of some accused in the case is also possible soon.
