New Delhi. Writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar has come under attack from the BJP for comparing the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) with the Taliban. Expressing dissatisfaction with his remarks, Maharashtra BJP MLA and spokesperson Ram Kadam apologized to him. He said unless he apologized for his remarks about the union, the country should not be allowed to screen his films.

He said in the video that unless Javed Akhtar joins hands with the Sangh and the World Hindu Council to apologize to the millions of workers. Until then, no pictures of her and her family will be allowed on Mother Bharati’s land.

Ram Kadam says these organizations help the poorest people in the country and Javed Akhtar is insulting them. He said, “Before making this comment, he should have thought that people of the same ideology are now running the government, practicing monarchy. If Adarsh had been a Taliban, could he have made this comment? Does it show how empty his statement is? ‘
Ram Kadam is a BJP MLA from Ghatkopar West in Maharashtra. “We will not allow any of her films to run in this land of Mother Bharati unless she joins hands and apologizes to the workers of the union who have sacrificed their lives for the nation,” he said.
