Expressing dissatisfaction with his remarks, Maharashtra BJP MLA and spokesperson Ram Kadam apologized to him. He said unless he apologized for his remarks about the union, the country should not be allowed to screen his films.

Ram Kadam is a BJP MLA from Ghatkopar West in Maharashtra. “We will not allow any of her films to run in this land of Mother Bharati unless she joins hands and apologizes to the workers of the union who have sacrificed their lives for the nation,” he said.
