New Delhi. Ramlila will be staged across the country, including Delhi, from October. For this, the artists participating in Ramlila are rehearsing day and night. But before presenting Ramlila in the capital, the top organization Ramlila Mahasangh has written an open letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
In this open letter, the Ramlila Federation has demanded the immediate issuance of guidelines by the DDMA in terms of staging of Ramlilas starting from the first week of October. In an open letter, Ashok Agarwal, acting president of the federation, said that all the major committees of Delhi-NCR have started their plans for staging Ramlila but the DDMA guidelines have not been issued yet.
Even last year, due to Corona, the DDMA delayed the permission to stage the Leela so much that most of the committees could not stage the Ramlila. Since it takes at least a month to plan the stage, bring the artists together and then make all the preparations with the rehearsals, but due to delays in directing last year, not everyone was ready and only a few committees could take part in this last minute Ramlila event.
The incidence of corona in Delhi-NCR is also very low this time, so this time DDMA should issue guidelines regarding Ramlila staging from now on. Agarwal further said that now the government has opened all major markets, cinema halls, clubs, spas, restaurants, gyms, school banquet halls, weekly market safety regulations keeping in mind the sentiments of all devotees. Instructions on immediate Ramlila Mancha. So that all arrangements can be made according to them and the rules of health protection can also be followed.
