Happy Engineer’s Day: Engineers’ Day is celebrated on September 15 every year. This day is the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, an Indian civil engineer. He is also known as Sir MV, he received Bharat Ratna for his contribution in the field of engineering. According to information, Sir MV was born on 15 September 1860 in the village of Muddenhalli in Karnataka. He completed his engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Pune. He was the chief engineer of the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam in Karnataka and also worked as one of the engineers of the flood protection system in the city of Hyderabad.
