    Special Director, ED staff headquarters sealed after several staff members tested positive for Covid-19

    Those who have tested positive include the Special Director (HIU) and the investigating officer conducting the aviation scandal.

    The Enforcement Directorate (ED) headquarters in South Delhi was sealed off for 48 hours on Saturday and Sunday after several employees tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

    Among those who tested positive were Special Director (HIU) and Investigating Officer Corporate Lobby Deepak Talwar.

    Legal and intelligence personnel also tested positive for COVID-19. Ten workers have been placed in quarantine.

    The office was closed after deep sanitation work was undertaken.

    On Thursday, a floor of the office was sealed for two days after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19, the news agency IANS reported.

    The ED works from two floors of the Lok Nayak building and at that time one floor of the ED office was sealed.

    Meanwhile, four employees of the revenue department of the finance ministry were infected with the coronavirus on Monday. In an office memorandum, the department said the entire northern block had been deeply sanitized.
