Barcelona. Netherlands striker Memphis Depay scored the first goal for Barcelona, meeting coach Ronald Koeman’s expectations as they avoided their side’s first defeat in the Spanish football league La Liga since the departure of Lionel Messi. Barcelona played a poor game but Depay’s goal helped Athletic Bilbao to a 1-1 draw.
For the first time since the corona pandemic, some spectators came to the San Memes stadium, who breathed a sigh of relief when Depay scored in the 75th minute. Inigo Martinez gave Bilbao the lead in the 50th minute. As Depe scored, not only his teammates, but also the stunned audience.

In other La Liga matches, Carlos Soler’s 88th-minute penalty goal held Valencia to a 1-1 draw with Granada, while Majorca beat Alaves 1-0 thanks to Fer Nino’s goal.
