Mumbai. Mumbai City FC have signed Gurkeerat Singh on a three-year deal ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season. On Saturday, the football club announced the signing of a contract with Gurkirat. As per the contract, Mumbai City have an option to extend the contract of the 18-year-old, who has represented Indian Arrows, for another year.
“Joining the Mumbai City team is a dream come true for any young player and it’s no different for me,” Gurkeerat said in a statement. He further said, ‘I understand the importance of the opportunity given to myself. I know nothing like that, I have a lot to learn from my teammates and experienced players. I am ready to work hard for this ambitious club and make a difference with my efforts.

Gurkeerat scored one goal in 11 matches in the 2020–21 season. He is a regular performer in the AIFF Development Team. He has also impressed for the national team at the U-16 and U-18 levels.
