Devendra Murgaonkar, Mohammad Nemil and Brandon Fernandez scored for FC Goa in the first half. Leander de Cunha and Romario Jesuraj then scored in the second half.
Nikhil Mali scored the only goal for Delhi FC. The Delhi team created some chances in the first half but Anwar Ali and Willis Dion Plaza failed to convert them into goals. Devendra scored the first goal for Goa in the 15th minute, which was their fourth goal of the tournament. Three minutes later, Mohammad Nemil gave the team a 2-0 lead.
Goa’s defensive line did not allow Delhi FC’s chances to succeed. Brandon scored a relentless shot in injury time and FC Goa took a 3-0 lead in the first half. In the second half, Delhi FC tried something but luck was not on their side. Mali was able to score a goal for the team in the 72nd minute. Leander de Cunha scored the fourth goal for FC Goa and Jesuraj scored the fifth goal.
