Kolkata. A goal from Willis Dion Plaza in the second half helped Indian Super League (ISL) team beat Kerala Blasters to reach the quarter-finals of the Delhi FC Durand Cup 2021 football tournament on Wednesday. Delhi won the match 1-0 at Kalyani Stadium.
Delhi FC started well in the third and final match of the group. He made good moves twice but the Kerala Blasters goalkeeper made an excellent defense. Both teams tried very hard in the first half but neither of them succeeded till half time. The score remains goalless till half time.
Then in the second half Delhi took an aggressive attitude. Plaza kept the Blasters defenders busy from the first half and finally managed to score in the 52nd minute which proved decisive. This is Delhi’s first win in their third match in Group C and they are second with 4 points.
