Gauhar/Delhi. Anyone living in the national capital Delhi or visiting here from outside must have eaten the very famous dish chhole-bhatura at one time or another. There are chole-bhatura shops in every locality and region of Delhi, but did you know that Bollywood’s stylish and hunk actor Hrithik Roshan also loves Delhi’s chhole-bhatura. Hrithik loved the taste of Chole Bhatoor from a specialty store in Delhi. Big politicians and celebrities also frequent this place.
This particular shop is called ‘Nand Di Hati’. The special thing is that desi ghee is used in the food prepared here. Moreover, desi ghee is mixed in pickles prepared here.
Ankur, owner of ‘Nand Di Hatti’, said his grandfather started this shop in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Later in 1948 he started this shop in Delhi. He is from the fourth generation of his family who is now running the shop ‘Nand Di Hatti’. Ankur also revealed that actor Hrithik Roshan also gets Chole Bhatur from here once a year. He also hosted two meals at the home of BJP MP and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir. The director of famous TV serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ also frequents here.
Flavor-rich food items are available at ‘Nand Di Hatti’
To reach the ‘Nand Di Hatti’ store, get off the Blue Line Metro at RK Ashram Marg station. After departing from here, the rickshaw will take you to Old Delhi’s Sadar Bazaar in 15 to 20 minutes. After coming here, you can ask anyone in the bazaar about the ‘Nand Di Hatti’ shop. This store is open Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm. This shop will be closed on Sunday.
The price of rice in two bowls at ‘Nand Di Hatti’ shop is 120 rupees. Where chola with bhature is available here for 60 taka.
