    Sabudana Vada Recipe: Sabudana Vada is a traditional and delicious fruit to break fast in the month of Sawan. Please tell that the month of Shrab started from 4th July and it will end on 31st August. This year the month of Shaban is 59 days and will have 8 Mondays. Many Shiva devotees fast during the month of Sawan. Many fast only on Shabbat Monday. Fruit made from sago is very popular during fasting. Mostly people eat sago khichdi, although vada made with sago is also very popular.

    Ingredients for Sabudana Vada
    Sabudana- 1 cup
    Roasted peanuts – 1 cup
    Boiled potatoes – 3
    Chopped green chillies – 4-5
    Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
    Rock salt – 1 tsp
    Green coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
    Oil – for frying

    How to make Sabudana Vada
    To make delicious sabudana vada, first wash sabudana and soak it in water for 4-5 hours. This will cause the soap to swell and become very soft. Now heat a pan on medium heat and add peanuts to it and roast. It will take 5-6 minutes to roast the peanuts properly. After roasting the groundnuts turn off the gas and grind them to a light powder.
    Now take the soaked sago and transfer it to a bowl. Add black pepper powder, peanuts, finely chopped green chillies and rock salt to taste and mix well.

    Then mash the boiled potatoes and add to the soap. Now knead this mixture well. Prepare sabudana vada mixture. Then take a little mixture in your hand and make a ball and shape it.

    Now heat a pan with oil. When the oil is hot, fry the prepared sabudana and deep fry it. After frying for a while, flip the sabudana fry and deep fry the other side. Fry the sabudana fritters until they become crisp and golden on both sides. After that, take out the fried sago bhartas on a plate. Fry all the sago in the same way. Serve delicious Sabudana Vada with yogurt.
