Ingredients for making dal paratha
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Dal (remaining) – 1 cup
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Chopped green chillies- 2
Chopped green coriander – 2-3 tbsp
Oil – as required
Salt – as per taste
How to make Dal Paratha
To make delicious dal parathas for breakfast, first knead the dough in a bowl. Now make a little space in the middle with flour and add a cup of dal left over from the night. Then mix flour with lentils well. Then mix well with finely chopped green chillies, green coriander leaves, cumin seeds, a spoonful of oil and salt to taste. Add little water if necessary and knead the dough.
Leave the dough for half an hour to set after kneading. After certain time take the flour and whisk it again. Now heat a nonstick pan/tawa on medium heat. Meanwhile, break equal proportions of the dough into balls and roll them into round parathas with a ball. When the fry is hot, pour a spoonful of oil and spread it around.

Now fry the rolled paratha in the pan for a while. After that, pour oil on the edge of the paratha and fry the paratha upside down. After a while apply oil on the surface of the parota and turn it over. Now fry the parota till it becomes crispy and golden on both sides. Then take out the dal paratha on a plate. Similarly roast all the dal parathas. Delicious dal paratha is ready for breakfast. It can be served with curd, sauce or chutney.
