    Ingredients for Poppy Seed Pudding
    Poppy seeds – 1 bowl
    Sugar – 1 bowl
    Milk- 1 cup
    Ghee- 1/2 cup
    Chopped almonds – 1 tbsp
    Chopped cashew nuts – 1 tbsp
    Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

    How to make poppy seed pudding
    To make nutritious poppy seed pudding, first clean the poppy seeds and soak them in water overnight. The next day, take the poppy seeds out of the water and put them in a mixer jar and grind them to make a smooth paste. You can add a teaspoon or two of water if necessary while grinding the poppy seeds. Now heat a pan on medium heat and add ghee and melt it.

    When the ghee melts, add the poppy seed paste to the pan and fry. Fry the poppy seed paste on low heat for two to three minutes. At this time, the color of the poppy seeds will turn light golden. After that add milk and sugar as per taste to the poppy seed paste and mix well. Fry the pudding for 5-7 minutes while stirring in between. Meanwhile, cut the dry fruits into fine pieces.

    When the pudding starts to come out of the pan while cooking, add chopped cashews, almonds and cardamom powder. Now cook the pudding while stirring for two to three minutes. Turn off the gas when the halwa starts to smell sweet. Poppy seed pudding is ready full of flavor and nutrition. Take out in a serving bowl and garnish with dry fruits and serve.
