    Ingredients for making saffron kheer
    Milk – 1 liter
    Rice- 1 cup
    Sugar- 1 cup
    Almonds – 8-10
    Cashews – 8-10
    Pistachio clippings – 1 tbsp
    Cardamom seeds – 1/2 tsp
    Saffron – 12-15 threads

    How to make saffron kheer
    To make saffron kheer, first clean and wash the rice and soak it in water for one to one and a half hours. Then finely chop the cashew nuts and almonds. Now take a big pot and put milk in it and keep it on medium flame. Stir occasionally with a large spoon while heating the milk. When milk starts to boil, add sugar.

    Now take boiled milk in a small bowl and mix it with saffron thread and keep it aside. Then mix finely chopped cashew nuts, almonds and pistachio nuts in milk. After some time mix well with milk soaked rice with spoon. Then add saffron milk to the curd and mix well.

    After that, cover the pot and let the curd cook on medium flame. Saffron kheer may take 10-15 minutes to cook. When the rice is cooked well, switch off the gas. Your delicious saffron kheer is ready. Can be served hot. If you prefer cold kheer, first let the saffron kheer cool to room temperature. Then keep it in the fridge for half an hour and serve it cold.
