    Ingredients for the gourd paste
    Peeled bitter gourd – 1/2 cup
    Millet flour – 1/2/4 cup
    Wheat flour – 1 cup
    Chopped garlic – 1/2 tsp
    Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
    Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
    Coriander powder – 1 tsp
    Chopped green coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
    Oil – as required
    Salt – as per taste

    How to make bitter gourd thepla
    To make thepala from bitter gourd, first peel the bitter gourd and cut it into fine pieces. After that, take a mixing bowl, add millet flour and wheat flour and mix it well. Then mix all the ingredients well with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, finely chopped garlic, coriander powder, finely chopped green coriander and salt to taste.

    Now add little water and knead the flour to make a paste. Make sure that the dough becomes a little soft. After the dough is ready, make balls out of it and put it in a pan with wheat flour and roll the thepla into round shape. Next, heat a nonstick pan/tawa on medium heat. Spread some oil on it and bake the prepared dishes. After a while, flip the dishes and fry the other side with oil. You can fry it like roti without adding oil if you want.

    Fry the thepala till it turns golden brown in color. After that take out the prepared dishes on a plate. Similarly make the gourd dish from all the dough one by one. Your nutritious bitter gourd paste is ready. It can be served with vegetables or chutney.
