    Dal Pakwan Recipe: There is no dearth of people who love the famous Sindhi dish Dal Pakwan. Dal Pakwan is widely eaten as a breakfast or daytime snack.     Ingredients for preparing dal dish
    For lentils
    Chickpeas – 1 cup
    Chopped onion- 1
    Chopped tomatoes – 1
    Rye- 1/2 tsp
    Cumin – 1 tsp
    Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
    Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
    Coriander powder – 1 tsp
    Garam masala – 1 tsp
    Chaat masala- 1 teaspoon
    Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
    Tamarind water- 1 teaspoon

    Flour – 2 cups
    Ajwain- 1 tsp
    Oil- 1/2 cup
    hot water

    How to make Dal Pakwan
    To make this Sindhi flavored dal dish, first clean the chickpeas. Then wash the dal once or twice with water and put it in the pressure cooker. Cover with water, turmeric and a pinch of salt as needed and let it cook. When the cooker gives 5-6 whistles turn off the gas and release the pressure by itself. After that heat a pan with oil. After the oil is hot, add the mustard paste.
    After few seconds add chopped tomatoes and saute till soft. Now add coriander powder and garam masala and cook tomatoes for another minute. Meanwhile, open the lid of the cooker and take out the chickpeas and put them in the pan and mix them with a spoon. After the dal cooks for 2-3 minutes, switch off the gas and mash lightly with the back of a large spoon. Chickpeas are ready.

    Now put all purpose flour in a bowl to prepare the dish. Add celery and salt to taste and mix. Then add a spoonful of oil. Now add water little by little and knead the dough. Cover the dough with a cloth for half an hour. After the specified time, knead the dough once more and make balls out of it. Now make a thick loaf from the dough and make holes in the whole loaf with the help of a fork and a fork.

    Meanwhile, heat a pan with oil. When the oil is hot, deep fry the prepared bread in it. The holes in the bread will prevent it from puffing up during frying. Similarly break all the balls and make the dish by deep frying them in the shape of roti. Bake them till golden brown. Delicious Dal Thala is ready. Add lemon juice, tamarind water to the lentil and serve with finely sliced ​​onions and sprinkling of chaat masala in the dish.
