Many types of kachuri are available here. Delicious gram flour kachoris are available here at Bhairu Kachori Walla shop located at Banthia Chowk. It is eaten with great pomp in the old town. Usually one kachuri is available in the shop for 10 taka, but here four besan kachuri are available for 10 taka. People come from far and wide to eat this special kachori. This shop is famous all over Bikaner as Do Bhai.
Shopkeeper Bhairu said that he has been running this shop since childhood. He has been running the shop with his brother for the past 25 years. His brother Kanhaiyalal makes kachuris and dumplings, where he serves them to people. His shop is open daily from 6 am to 3 pm. Every day hundreds of people come to eat kachuri. Bhairu said that he has been selling kachuri at the same price for several years. The size of kachuri made here is about one inch.
Bhairu said, he keeps gram flour in the pot. Also, it is made by adding whole coriander, celery, betel nut and flour. Besides Kachuri they also sell Dumplings. They give customers 100 grams of dumplings for 10 rupees.
