Ingredients for Ajwaini Paneer Kofta
Cheese – 200 grams
Water chest – 1 bowl
Tomatoes – 4-5
Ajwain – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 3/4 tsp
Green coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste
How to make Ajwaini Paneer Kofta
To make ajwaini paneer kofta first take paneer in a bowl and knead it well with both hands. After that, add water chestnut flour and little salt to the paneer and mix it well. Now add 1/4 tsp ajwain to this mixture and mix it properly. After applying a little oil on the palm, press this mixture with the palm to make kofta and keep it separately on a plate.
Now take tomatoes and boil them in a pot. When the tomatoes boil, turn off the gas and peel them. Then chop the tomatoes and put them in a mixer to make a puree. Now heat a pan with oil for frying the koftas on medium heat. When the oil is hot, fry the koftas according to the capacity of the pan. Fry the koftas in turn and when they turn golden, take them out on a plate.

Now take another pan and heat it on medium flame. When the pan is hot, fry half a teaspoon of carom seeds. After frying for a few seconds, add the tomato puree and let it boil. After that add red chilli powder and salt to the puree to taste. When the puree boils, add the fried koftas to it and let it cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes, then switch off the gas. Delicious Ajwaini Paneer Kofta is ready. It can be served with roti or rice.
