Virendra Puri/Kaithal: In the days to come, criminals adopt new methods of robbery, but no matter how clever the criminal is, he is eventually caught by the police. One such incident has come to light from Dhand area of Kaithal. Here, the CIA-1 team of the police arrested 6 criminals who adopted a dramatic approach to the robbery. Working as sub-inspectors, they carry out robberies, but during the robbery, they have no idea that one day they will be caught by the real police.
DSP Amit Kumar said, while taking action based on Dhyan Chand’s complaint, he exposed the entire cycle of the robbery. Actually Dhyan Chand is a truck driver by profession. He came in contact with the accused through a social WhatsApp group. One day he read a message in the group for sale of old Creta cars. Dhyan Chand contacted the man about buying the car and from here the whole plan of robbery started.
A robber in a sub-inspector’s uniform
The person speaking from the front says his name is Rajkumar (real name Sushil) and calls Dhyan Chand to the Shambhu barrier to show him the car. 7.5 lakhs between the accused and Dhyan Chand settled the entire deal. Dhyan Chand asked for a month to arrange the money and after a month when he reached his friends with the money, the accused tricked him and a friend into their car and took him to Solu Majra. From the same direction, five more accused arrived in a Honda City car, one of whom was in the uniform of a sub-inspector. The fake sub-inspector threatened Dhyan Chand and his friend saying… “You buy and sell stolen cars, this Creta car is stolen. I will be arrested in the case of theft. During the argument, the accused fled from the spot with a bag containing Rs 7.5 lakh from Dhyan Chand. His car was also taken away.
The money has not yet been recovered
After that, the victim lodged a complaint with Dhyan Chand police station. Police arrested all the accused including the car while taking action. The police say that currently the money has not been recovered, the accused will be remanded for further questioning soon. Apart from this, how many other people they have made their victims so far will be investigated. Police said they are habitual criminals and many such cases have been registered against these accused in the past. The arrested accused are Resh alias Murga Bari Jhandli District Fatehabad, Akshay Bari Jhandli District Fatehabad, Sushil alias Silli resident of Ward no. Bhuna, Ajay alias Tikun, resident of Ward No. 4. 9 Bhuna District Fatehabad, Gurcharan alias Billa Resident Safipur District Sangrur Punjab, Pragat Resident Bagraul District Sangrur Punjab.
