Gumla A girl was brutally murdered for love in Jharkhand. The incident is in Gumla district. The murdered girl was pregnant and had a 4-month-old baby in her stomach. When the relatives came to know about the matter, the girl’s brother Somra Munda asked her to marry his sister, but he agreed but left for Punjab some time ago for earning. The son’s relatives were ready to adopt Taramuni as a daughter-in-law. But Somra left the village and fled to Punjab. Taramuni then started staying at her parents’ house where the deceased’s brother called Somra Munda and asked him to come to the village and marry his sister.
He returned to the village from Punjab saying that he would get married in the village on Friday. He came home late at night and took Taramuni with him. After that Taramuni’s body was found crushed against a stone some distance from the village. In this incident, station in-charge Anil Linda said that the police received information that the body of the girl was lying in Kodkera village. The police reached the spot and recovered the body of the girl Taramani Kumari. The girl was strangled and stoned to death. Based on the statement of the deceased’s brother, the police detained and interrogated the lover, Somra Munda.
