Sources close to the Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP) said this on Saturday. On the coaching team in Pondicherry, Tate will work with head coach Dishant Yagnik and energy and conditioning coach Kalpendra Jha. Tate was recently appointed as the bowling coach of the Afghanistan cricket team for five months. Sources in the Cricket Association of Pondicherry told the Times of India that Tate had expressed his desire to join the team later this month. However, if he gets a call from Afghanistan, he can go there and rejoin the Pondicherry team after his five-month career.

Sources said Todd could train fast bowlers at the Cap Academy in Pondicherry.
