    Sports News Live Update: Sri Lanka beat South Africa 1-14 in first ODI


    New Delhi. Sri Lanka lost to South Africa by 14 runs in the first ODI. Batting first, Sri Lanka lost nine wickets in 50 overs and scored 300 runs. Abhishek Fernando scored 118 runs. Chasing the target, the African team lost six wickets and could score only 286 runs. India returned to the power of bowlers after scoring just 111 in their first innings in the fourth Test of the series against England (IND vs. ENG 4th Test). The Indian bowlers performed well, picking up the wickets of the hosts on the first day on Thursday. For Team India, captain Virat Kohli and Shardul Tagore scored half-centuries and pacer Chris Oakes took wickets.
