New Delhi. World number one Indian para badminton player Promod Bhagat is aiming to win two gold medals at the Tokyo Paralympics. Today, in the men’s singles semifinals, he is up against Fujihar of Japan. With the help of half-centuries from Oli Pope and Chris Oakes, England took a crucial 99-run lead over India with 290 runs in the fourth Test (IND vs ENG 4th Test). Pope 11 and Chris Oakes, who showed batting skills after bowling, scored 50 runs. At one stage, England lost five wickets for 62 runs, but then Pope played a role as the architect of the innings. India scored 191 in the first innings. At the end of the second day’s play, India were 43 for no loss in the second innings and are now 56 runs behind.
