IND vs AUS Women: Indian players upset at Indian Quarantine Center, sentenced to life in ‘small cell’

New Delhi. The Indian women’s cricket team has arrived in Australia for the ODI, T20 and Test series. Here he has to stay at the Government Quarantine Center in Brisbane for 14 days. Now, just 4 days after the split, the effects are starting to show among Indian players. The rooms in which they are accommodated are very small. For this reason, players are only able to do light exercises.

A BCCI official told PTI that the rooms at the quarantine center in Brisbane were quite small. With great difficulty you can walk around the room. You can’t train much in it. However, the good thing is that, like in Britain, there are no security guards outside the rooms of the quarantine center. Nevertheless, the rules of quarantine here are quite strict.

He said the food served here is ok and the menu is changing every day. But staying 2 weeks in a small room will be quite a challenge.

The schedule of the series has also changed due to Corona
In Britain, players were allowed to practice in the first week of quarantine. Because before coming to England, the Indian team was isolated in a hotel in Mumbai for 2 weeks. The women’s team arrived in Brisbane on Monday to play ODIs, a Pink Ball Test and T20I matches in Australia.

Due to Covid-1 restrictions in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne, the schedule of the series has also changed. Now all matches will be held in Queensland and the series will start on 21 September with a two-day delay instead of 19 September. Earlier, the matches were scheduled to be held in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
