It will cost Rs 60,000 to construct a shed of 300 square feet area and Rs 40,000 for machinery. Also, you will spend Rs 2.50 lakh on working capital like electricity, water, wages of workers etc. For this, you can get loans under Central Government Money Loan Scheme and Prime Minister’s Employment Scheme.
How much will the income be?
According to the report, 193 quintals of masala can be produced every year from the masala manufacturing unit. Currently, a quintal of spices costs around Rs 5400 and if you sell all the spices prepared in your unit at the same rate, you can earn Rs 10.42 lakhs annually. This will give you an annual profit of Rs 2.54 lakh after deducting all expenses. If you start it in your home instead of rented land, your profits can increase even more.

You can spread your spice business through marketing. You can directly contact the shopkeepers to supply the spices.
