Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini is known for her striking looks apart from her films, while she is known as the ‘Dream Girl’ in the industry. Hema made her Bollywood debut in 1968. She started her acting career in Bollywood with ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar’ and went on to act in ‘Sita Aur Geeta’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Satte Pe Satta’, ‘Dharmatma’, ‘Bagwan’ and worked in many films. Like Veer-Zara and has mesmerized fans with his endlessly amazing performances.

Besides Dharmendra and Hema Malini, they have two daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. But, before marrying Hema, Dharmendra was married to Prakash Kaur. In a conversation with Ram Kamal Mukherjee, Hema herself mentioned the incident when she was pregnant for the first time and her mother-in-law Satwant Kaur went to a dubbing studio to meet her without informing anyone.

Recalling this incident, Hema Malini said- ‘Dharmaji’s mother Satwant Kaur was very kind and loving. I distinctly remember that once I got Esha pregnant and she came to know about my pregnancy, she came to meet me at a dubbing studio in Juhu. He did not tell anyone at home. As he reached I touched his feet, he hugged me and said, ‘beta, always be happy’. I’m glad she was happy with me.
