One of them is Mani Ratnam’s dream project ‘Paninin Selvan’. The shooting of the film is going on very fast. It is a historical film based on Kalki Krishnamurti’s novel ‘Ponyin Selvan’. This novel came out in 1955. The film stars Bollywood and Tollywood celebrities including Ishwar Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Prakash Raj, Trisha, Karti, Jayaram Ravi, Shovita and Dhulipala.
After finishing filming in Pondicherry in the last few weeks, the team arrived in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh last week for their next schedule, where 400 Shree Rai Bachchan sang a song with more than 400 junior artists. Mani Ratnam wanted to shoot a song on a large scale, for which he decided to take on a team of more than 400 junior artists. “

Earlier it was known that Hyderabad will be shooting this song in Hyderabad. The winning choreographer is Brinda Gopal. The team shot the song sequence at Maheshwar Ghat, where ‘Pad Man’ and ‘Dabang 3’ were shot. “
The source further revealed that the film (Ponniyin Selvan Budget) was shot with a big budget. He said, “The film is being made with a budget of around Rs 500 crore. The story spans several years and has more than 50 main characters. It has been shot extensively in Thailand and a set has also been made on the outskirts of Hyderabad. More than 1500 junior artists are involved in different schedules. 90 percent of the work on the film has been completed. The film will be released in two parts, but both parts are being shot simultaneously.
