    Kannada actor Darshan is gearing up for his big release ‘Kranti’ this week.

    Darshan, ironically, is an ambassador for wildlife conservation and was also nominated to the State Wildlife Board.

    Karnataka forest authorities have booked Kannada actor Darshan and his wife Vijaya Lakshmi under the Wildlife Protection Act for keeping rare bar-headed geese at their farm in Mysuru.     Authorities have also booked farm manager Nagaraj. Forest department sleuths raided after an interview with Darshan revealed that his farmhouse has this rare migratory bird.

    Authorities have captured four of the rare birds and released them near Bangalore’s Hadinaru lake, considered a magnet for migratory birds.

    Deputy Conservator of Forest b. Bhaskar said his trappers also found a black swan, ostrich, emu and other rare species of birds in the farmhouse. They have sought documents related to the actor obtaining permission from the authorities to keep these birds in his farmhouse.

    Darshan is gearing up for his big release ‘Kranti’ this week. After his derogatory comments against the media house, the media decided not to publish the news related to his new film.
