Jitendra got only 100 rupees for the first picture, did not get 6 months salary

New Delhi: Actor Jitendra is one of those Bollywood stars who has seen stardom for a long time. Many of his films proved to be superhits, but you would be surprised to know that the early part of Jitendra’s film career was very combative. Jitendra used to live in a rice field in Mumbai in the early days. Jitendra was studying in college when his father died. After his death, it became difficult to run the house, so Jitendra wanted to start his own business.
Jitendra first got a job as a junior artist. Filmmaker Shantaram gave him this job. He was told that no junior artist would come on the day, he would be hired and instead he would be paid Rs 105 per month.

Less money for the first break
According to media reports, gradually Jitendra Shantaram liked him. Shantaram signed Jitendra to sing the song in Patharne. In this film Shantaram named him Jitendra from Ravi Kapoor. Jitendra got the picture, but he was given a break, so the money went down. He signed 100 per month, but was not paid for the first 6 months.

After a long struggle I got recognition
Jitendra worked very hard at the beginning of his career, then in 1967 Jitendra Faraz got a new identity from film. The song ‘Mast Baharan Ka Men Aashiq’ from this film was very much liked. Thus Jitendra became a ‘jumping jack’. He then made films like Humjoli and Caravan and he became a superstar.

At the same time, Jitendra is now the chairman of the film but Balaji Telefilm and Balaji Motion Pictures. His daughter Ekta Kapoor has achieved a distinct position in the film and television industry.
