New Delhi. A team of Delhi Police has arrested an accused in a drug smuggling case from Tigris police station in South Delhi district. The name of the arrested accused is Aditya. The accused is a resident of Champaran district of Bihar. He lived in the Sangam Bihar area of Delhi. 12 kg of cannabis was recovered from him.

South Delhi DCD Atul Kumar Tagore said that during the patrol, the police team showed the suspect to the Dolphin MTNL office near MB Road. Seeing the police team, he tried to hide the bag. Police then chased him and caught him. 12 kg of cannabis was recovered from the bag while checking the bag.
Under interrogation, he said he came to Delhi only months ago. To make quick money, he started supplying marijuana. Police have now arrested the accused in the case.
At the same time, attempts are being made to catch other accused.
