World Mercy Day 2021: World Kindness Day is celebrated on November 13 every year. World Mercy Days are based on the thread of positive energy and generosity that inspires people to do good deeds in society. Kindness is a fundamental part of the human condition that goes beyond feelings of race, religion, politics, gender and postcode. The theme for World Mercy Day 2021 is – ‘Inspire the world we create – kindness.’ It is true that kindness is like a powerful tool that can help us create a world that promises a better, brighter future.
We tell you that World Mercy Day was started in 1998 by the World Mercy Movement Organization, which was established by the worldwide sympathetic organizations at the 1997 Tokyo Conference. In 2019, the organization was registered as a government NGO under Swiss law. It is celebrated in many countries, including Canada, Japan, Australia, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates. In 2009, Singapore celebrated the day for the first time, Italy and India also celebrated the day. In the UK, David Jamili co-founded Mercy Day Britain. In 2010, at the request of Michael Lloyd-White, the NSW Federation of Parents and Citizens wrote a letter to the Minister of Education of the NSW Department of Education informing them of World Mindfulness Day on the NSW school calendar.
