Lucknow. According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain till afternoon in many districts of western UP and Terai. Even one or two districts in the east could get wet in the rain. During the rainy season in these districts, strong gusts of up to 50 km per hour can also blow.

According to the meteorological department, the districts that are likely to receive rain till noon are Aligarh, Hathras, Ita, Kasganj, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Amroha, Sambhal, Moradabad, Bijnor, Shamli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Badun and Bareilly. Rampur, Pilivit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Lalitpur, Etawah, Balia, Bahraich, Srabasti, Balrampur, Gonda, Siddhartha Nagar, Basti, Sant Kabirnagar, Gorakhpur and Maharajganj.

The situation will be worse in flood-hit districts
Due to the extra rains, the situation may worsen in districts where people are already flood-prone. Most of the districts of Eastern and Terai districts are surrounded by flood waters. In such a situation, the situation is not improving in this district due to daily rains. With more rain the situation is likely to get more serious. However, despite the forecast, there was not much rain in the state on Friday.

According to the Meteorological Department, it has rained in only two districts in the last two hours. The maximum rainfall of 25 mm was recorded in Meerut. The eastern districts have received normal rainfall, but the western UP districts have received heavy rainfall. However, the Meteorological Department estimates that in August, the low rainfall loss will be completed in September.
