Police battened on the protesters for delay in the Neet examination, the health firms in protest will be closed

New Delhi. Doctors today protested strongly against repeated delays in NEET exams. Doctors started walking from Maulana Azad Medical College. At this time various slogans were raised. Doctors tried to reach the Supreme Court, but the Delhi Police prevented the doctors from reaching the Supreme Court. An official statement issued by the Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) on the performance of doctors said that Delhi Police had lathicharged doctors. All health facilities will be completely closed today in protest of the Delhi Police’s baton charge.

Speaking to news agency ANI, one of the protesters said that we are protesting against the delay in NEET 2021 counseling, when Delhi Police arrested several resident doctors who were marching in the Supreme Court.

“We have been boycotting the routine and emergency medical services of Delhi Hospital since December 17,” said Dr Survekshan Pandey, general secretary of the Resident Doctors Association of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Our protest outside the construction building was fruitless, so we decided to protest outside the Supreme Court and hand over our lab coats to the Supreme Court, but we were stopped in the middle. “We are asking the court to take Suo Moto (Suo Moto) into this matter as the third wave (Covid) is knocking on the door and we are becoming more and more burdened by the delay in NEET PG counseling,” he said.

What is the whole matter after so much?
Resident doctors across the country have been protesting against multiple postponement of NEET PG Counseling 2021 exam from November 27 and subsequent admission of new batch of resident doctors in medical colleges. On December 6, the RDA boycotted emergency and routine services at the hospital. However, on December 9, the federation suspended the agitation for a week on the positive assurance of the Ministry of Health.
