    SAIF U-19 Women’s Championship: Indian team loses to Bangladesh

    Dhaka. SAIF U-19 Women’s Football Championship in India (SAF U-19 Women’s Football ChampionshipThe hosts lost 0-1 to Bangladesh on Friday. This is the first defeat of the Indian team in this tournament. Earlier, India had won easily against Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Shamsunha’s goal in the seventh minute from the penalty spot made the difference between the two teams. From the very beginning, the two parties adopted a strategy of domination over each other.     India used all their strength to get back in the second half and kept possession of the ball. Amishal Baksala had a chance to score in the 55th minute but could not overtake Rupana when Sumati Kumari’s shot came out in the 73rd minute. India will play their next match against Nepal on Sunday where winning will ensure their place in the final.
