    Potato Chaat Recipe: Many people’s mouths water when they hear the name of potato lick. Everyone likes to lick potatoes. Especially children like potato lick as street food. The crowd of people at the potato licking stall on the side of the road clearly shows the people’s choice in this regard. Old Delhi’s potato chaat is considered to be very famous. There are many people who like potato chaat very much but for health reasons they avoid eating potato chaat in the market.     Potato Chaat is a snack that you can easily make at any time. It is ready in a few minutes. Whether you are a little hungry or you can use it as a snack during evening tea.

    Potato licking ingredients

    To make chaat-
    Boiled potatoes – 3
    Onion crumbs – 1 piece
    Tamarind chutney – 1 tsp
    Cumin powder – 1 pinch
    Chaat masala- 1/2 teaspoon
    Black salt – 1 pinch
    Black pepper – 1 pinch
    Lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon
    Red pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
    Oil

    To make chutney-
    Green coriander – 1 cup
    Black salt – 1/2 teaspoon
    Raw chilli powder – 1 piece
    Lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon

    How to make potato lick
    To make potato chaat we first make chutney. For this, first wash and clean with green coriander. Then put green coriander in a bowl, then add green chillies and black salt. Mix everything well and then grind with the help of mixer. Now mix this chutney well with lemon juice. This will help to give the sauce a slightly sour taste.

    Now to make chaat, first cut the boiled potatoes into pieces. Now take a pan and heat it with oil. When the oil is hot enough, fry the potato pieces in it. Fry the potatoes until their color is golden brown. Then put the potatoes in a bowl. Now mix the red chillies, black chillies, cumin powder, black salt and chaat spices well in the fried potatoes. Add chopped onion and half lemon juice on it and mix it well.

    Now put green chutney and tamarind chutney on top of the potato chutney and mix this mixture well. This way your delicious potato lick is ready. Take out on a sugar plate or in a plastic container and serve garnished with onion and green coriander.
