    Pakistani Hindu cricketer shares video of temple vandalism, tells PM to protect our religious freedom

    New Delhi. Atrocities against minorities have resurfaced in Pakistan. This time the temple was vandalized. Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria shared a video in this regard. Kaneria, a Test cricketer, has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to protect religious freedom. Danish Kaneria is one of the few Hindu cricketers to have played for Pakistan.

    Danish Kaneria, who has played 61 Tests for Pakistan, posted a video on social media on Wednesday. The video is of a temple. The temple was vandalized and the idol was vandalized.

    Danish Kaneria, 41, wrote in his post, ‘In the middle of Karachi. Religious freedom should not be compromised. This is discrediting Pakistan. I urge Prime Minister Imran Khan to take action.

    Danish Kaneria has played 79 international matches for Pakistan. There are 61 Tests and 16 ODIs. Kaneria, who has bid farewell to international cricket, has previously accused his fellow cricketers of discrimination. Kaneria claimed a few years ago that many of his fellow cricketers discriminated against him on the basis of religion. There are also allegations of match-fixing against Danish Kaneria. He has also been banned for life. Danish Kaneria has appealed to the Sindh High Court against this decision.
