There will be a bad effect on the earnings of films
The film ‘RRR’ will hit the theaters on 7 January 2022 next year. In such a situation, what the filmmakers will decide, it will be a matter to be seen. But, one thing is clear, this will have a bad effect on the earnings of the films.
This decision of the government is a big blow to the filmmakers and theater owners, exhibitors and distributors. Movies like ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and ‘Pushpa’ were drawing people to the theatres, despite opening of theaters with 50 per cent capacity.
Film makers and theater owners will be affected
Today on December 28, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that spas, gyms and cinema halls which were earlier running at 50 percent capacity will be closed. This announcement has come after the test positivity rate of Kovid-19 in Delhi is more than 0.5% for the last two days.
